RAM install for iMac 24

Date: July 19th, 2007   No comments

Apple has great installation guides for RAM. The 24" iMac install is simple, however, RAM is so very important and quite difficult to troubleshoot if flawed. Care should always be taken. The guide is worth reviewing. The RAM in my case did not actually wish itself out of the slot. In fact, a small pair of tweezers gets it out enough to grab it. I recall the times when we would swap RAM in and out of Quadra 950s 16 DIMMS at a time, nearly disassembling the entire chassis. Fun.
